Editorial Policy

Zentime Digest publishes practical wellness content for UK adults. This page sets out the editorial principles we follow — what we aim to produce, how we approach research, and the standards that govern every article on this platform.

1. Our Editorial Mission

Zentime Digest was founded to provide wellness content that feels human — not preachy, not supplement-heavy, not reliant on dramatic before-and-after promises. Our aim is to help everyday readers build better habits by publishing honest, practical, and accessible content on health, nutrition, sport, yoga, and time management.

We write for busy UK adults — people who want reliable information without medical jargon or unrealistic expectations. Our tone is warm and practical. We are not a clinical resource, a medical journal, or a lifestyle brand selling aspirational perfection. We are an editorial platform trying to be genuinely useful.

2. Research and Accuracy

All articles published on Zentime Digest are researched using credible, publicly available sources. Where relevant, these include NHS guidance, peer-reviewed research, and content from established UK health organisations including the British Nutrition Foundation, the British Heart Foundation, and Sport England.

We do not invent statistics, fabricate quotes, or present speculation as established fact. When evidence on a topic is mixed or evolving, we say so — we do not flatten nuance to make a piece easier to read.

We include dates on all articles. Readers should check our health disclaimer and, for time-sensitive health topics, verify current NHS guidance independently.

3. Tone and Language

We avoid sensationalist headlines and packaging. If an article makes a claim, the content supports that claim. We do not use headlines that promise transformation, miracle results, or outcomes our content cannot deliver.

Specific terms we do not use in editorial content: "detox", "superfood miracle", "lose weight fast", "revolutionary wellness", "life-changing in 7 days", "clinically proven" (without a specific cited source), or any other phrase that overstates evidence or creates unrealistic expectations.

We do not use fear-based or shame-based messaging in relation to body image, eating, or fitness. Wellness tips and healthy habits content should be motivating and practical — not anxiety-inducing.

4. Health Content Standards

Given that our content touches on health topics, we apply extra care in this area. Specifically:

  • We do not make diagnostic claims of any kind
  • We do not advise readers to start, stop, or adjust medication or medical treatment
  • We signpost NHS resources and professional consultation where appropriate
  • We include our standard health disclaimer on all health and wellness articles: content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice
  • We do not claim that any food, supplement, exercise, or practice "cures" any condition
  • We do not publish content promoting extreme diets, unsafe caloric restriction, or any eating pattern that contradicts NHS dietary guidance

5. Corrections Policy

We correct factual errors promptly when they are identified. Corrections are noted at the bottom of the relevant article, with a brief explanation of what was changed and when. We do not silently edit published content to remove errors without acknowledgement.

6. Independence from Commercial Activity

Editorial decisions — which topics to cover, how to frame content, what conclusions to draw — are made by the editorial team independently of any commercial considerations. Sponsors, advertisers, and commercial partners have no influence over editorial content that is not explicitly produced as part of a commercial agreement.

Where commercial content exists, it is clearly labelled. The editorial team does not "reward" sponsors with favourable independent coverage.

7. No User-Generated Content

Zentime Digest does not publish unsolicited reader submissions, comments, or user-generated content. All content on this platform is produced or reviewed by the Zentime Digest editorial team. This allows us to maintain consistent standards and take clear editorial responsibility for everything published.

8. Staff and Attribution

Articles published on Zentime Digest are attributed to our editorial team members. Where an article is attributed to a named writer, that person wrote or significantly contributed to its content. We do not attribute content to named individuals who had no material involvement in its creation.
