We write what we'd want to read
Zentime Digest is a small editorial platform. Three people, one editorial focus: practical wellness content for adults with real schedules and no desire to be lectured at.
How Zentime Digest started
In 2017, a small team in Newcastle noticed that the wellness content available online fell into two categories: breathlessly enthusiastic lifestyle content full of impossible routines, or dry academic material that most people weren't going to read.
Neither felt like the right register for a busy parent trying to build slightly better habits, or a professional who wanted to understand whether their sleep was affecting their focus, or someone wondering if they could start running at 40 without hurting their knees.
So we started Zentime Digest. The name reflects what we care about: time management as part of wellness, the idea that how you spend your hours matters to how you feel, and that the two aren't as separate as they're often treated.
The platform has grown since then, but the editorial approach hasn't changed. We publish content that's accurate, readable, and realistic. We don't promise transformations. We don't have a supplements range. We don't have premium tiers. Everything is free to read.

Four editorial commitments
Evidence first, enthusiasm second
When we cite a health claim, we're looking for evidence — not just what sounds plausible. We aim to reflect what research actually supports and are willing to say when the evidence is thin or contested. We align with NHS guidance where it's available and relevant to UK readers.
No impossible standards
We don't write for people with personal chefs, two hours of free time each morning, and unlimited motivation. We write for people with demanding jobs, kids, commutes, and the occasional bad week. Content that only works for perfect conditions isn't useful content.
Transparent about sponsorship
Zentime Digest accepts sponsored content placements. All sponsored content is clearly labelled. It does not influence our independent editorial output. We publish a Sponsored Content Disclosure explaining our approach.
Free to read, always
There are no paywalls, subscription tiers, or premium content locks on Zentime Digest. The editorial content has always been free and will remain so. Our editorial policy is published and available on this site.
The editorial team
A small team with a consistent focus. The names below are the people who write and edit the content on this platform.
Leads the editorial direction and writes primarily on health and wellbeing. Has covered NHS guidance and UK health policy for over seven years.
Covers nutrition, fitness, and sport content. Background in exercise physiology. Writes with an emphasis on practical application over theoretical ideals.
Writes the yoga and mindfulness content. Practises yoga and has covered contemplative practices for general audiences for several years. Not preachy about it.
